i tried searching but came up empty handed. do the springs on the ground controls have to be eibachs or can you put h&rs in there or bats? as you can see i dont know much about the subject so please enlighten me if you could.

GC kits are supplied with Eibachs, would have to size the mounts/perches to use others...

Terry is right they are supplied with Eibach but they only make the spring contracted from Ground Control. It is a different design based on Ground Controls engineering and standards, they are not the same spring you get if you just order Eibach. I do not believe H&R's will fit on the perches (youd have to buy the complete kit anyhow). Sitting here looking at them (uninstalled, waiting for the updated bearing to be released)I believe the coil is much smaller in diameter then my friends Eibach's. Hope this helps.

If you take the # off the Eibach's and contact them they can give you other springs that will fit the GC's but of other 'rates' ,same dimensions to fit the GC perches.....

There really is nothing to them... The ground control kit uses a 2.25" ID linear rate racing spring.. They happen to be made my Eibach but any brand with the same specs would work just as well... Race parts outlets sell coilover springs in all lenghts and rates for around 50$ apiece, Eibach or not.
One thing for sure, there's no using your H&R or anything else on them!! Gotta have the perches to manage the 2.25" ID springs.
