So after about 2 weeks with the Aussie Bar on I just started to get a clunk, and something just doesn't feel right.

I got under there today to find on one side my Endlink bushings (I upgraded to Black Poly bushings sometime ago) have been crushed! This seems very odd to me since they wree polybushings but I guess they can only withstand so much force.

I should have snapped some pics of what it looked like (Maybe tomorrow) but I'll try to explain for now. The bottom side of the endlink bushing is flattened and disformed, the bolt is pretty much lying on the Control Arm and the upper side of the bushing is pushed up showing the tubular part of the bushing. The other side looks to be fine but I wonder for how long smile

Anyways just curious what my options are?

Would the upgraded Endlinks(Performance Fords) work any better or would the same thing happen?

Thanks in advance!

When you installed the bar and bushings did you have the car jacked up or on ramps? If you had it jacked up that is probably the reason that bushings were crushed. By installing the bar when it was on the jack there is a certain amount of preload put on the bar and suspension and this puts too much stress on the bushings, deforming them.

I had the car on ramps(no lift though) when i installed the bar...But I didn't tighten up the suspension until I was off them.

I installed the Perf. Fords endlinks with my car on a lift and the suspension unloaded. No problems at all. Great upgrade, even for stock bar.
