Got my BAT Euro Suspension kit in the mail today. Has anybody attempted to install this themselves? If so, any pointers, tips, warnings? What will I need to do this install? Anything else I need to know? Thanx in advance!

I installed mine a couple weeks ago. I followed the FAQ for the most part. I took me around 8 hours to do the whole thing. You will need an alignment afterwards but you can get buy for a few days without one, just dont expect the feel to be that great until you get the alignment.

One thing though, please measure your stock ride height before you start (measure from ground to fenderlip along the center line of the wheel face). I forgot to measure mine, as i was too excited. my after measurements are 25.5" front and 25.75" rear.

If you can find a shop to do it for around $250 or so, i say just payem and save yourself the work..... This is the second time i have sworn i would never do another shock/spring install. wink

It shouldn't be too bad to do the replacement yourself. All you need is an impact (electric or air) to make the job easy.
A spring compressor (loaned from autozone)
metric sockets
A pry bar (to break loose the tie-rods)

It took me around 3-4 hours to replace my struts.
Just be careful when you are compressing the springs, and use a service manual for torque settings.

Oh yeah, get new axle nuts!

Hi, I am new to the boards and have also been looking at this same kit from bat.inc and another from Intrax Suspension I was wondering if anyone else might have given this kit a shot or not? I stopped at one of the local shops here in Indy and the salesman (who seemed very knowledgable) recommended konis with the intrax springs to lower. I know konis are good I just want some advice or previous experiences if applicable from some fellow CEGers. Thanks DJ
