i've seen it, and thought about getting it, but its not to high on my list. I think its functional especially in a bigger 4 door car. I don't see the finctionality in a small 2 door.
If you have sub frame connectors i don't think its needed, and some might argue that if you have front and rear strut tower braces and rear sway bar that its not needed, but i think it might help a little espically if you autocross.

well considering it goes in the middle of the car i doubt it would do anything at all even if you did or did not have STBs and rear sway bar. Since the stresses are applied where the vehicle makes contact to the road and not in the middle of the car it wouldn't help much.... BUT if you had a normally mounted engine RWD this would help because the driveline itself would twist the entire car when jumping on the gas, especially high torque vehicles, but since our engine is mounted traversly and we are FWD we would not experience this.....
btw: I do plan on eventually buying the chrome bar but for looks only.
