Today I took on the task of installing my koni's and H&R's. Everything went good until I tried installing the new components up front, when I discovered that the cv boots had come apart on the inside on the tranny end. frown

Has anyone had this problem when they installed their suspension, and what did you do to fix it?

Thanks in advance for your help...

Mine slid around a lot and I though maybe they had come out but they were okay. Did you double check that they were out? I rotated the shaft back and forth every so often to see if I could hear the gears clicking. I you can hear the gears clicking/moving then you should be okay.

From what I hear they should go back in to place with little effort. You may end up having to pull the boot off and reinstall the drive shaft. Hopefully not but that may be a necessity.

They were out, but with a lot of work, I managed to keep the half shafts in, and install the struts. Man, that was a chore.

Now that all the hard work is done, I can enjoy the look.

Thanks for the response SQPlus...
