I plan on purchasing this bar, but I heard about it breaking off some of the subframe? or something. What all is necessary to buy other than the bar, so that nothing breaks, because I will for sure drive it pretty hard? and the brackets need to be rebent, are they still strong enough, and what is the final cost for this mod?

Thanks

Some people have said it has broken the "re-bent" stock bushing bracket.

I don't know if this was the old or new style brackets though.

Also Aussie has fabricated a set of new brackets that will work just fine.

I used the ones supplied with the pro-thane bushings (from the original run last spring/summer) and they are holding up just fine even with my constant abuse... They only took a little modification to fit.

Thanks DemonSVT, are the brackets extra or do they come with the bar? How much $$$?

I have PM's Aussie about getting new backing plates for my car. The sway bar is excellent, but the car tried to lift off a tire when I was going around a corner, and pulled the brackets out of the subframe. frown

I highly reccomend the bar though. smile
