I have tried searching around here and on the web. Thanks to corey's group buy, I have picked up koni's and some H&R springs. My problem is the H&R's are a tad too low and I won't be able to get my car in the driveway. Is there a way to preload the springs without using coilovers to get 1/2 to 3/4 inch back? I have not installed yet so I am looking for ideas before I spend the money on the install.

Thanks guys, I know someone must know how to do this for our cars.

There is not a driveway I can't get up. You may be on 3 wheels for awhile but you can do it!

If it is real bad, buy some wood to bridge the gap a lil more. The car will handle like a dream so a little extra energy won't hurt ya.
 laugh

Are you sure they're a tad too low? You haven't installed them yet. Find someone to switch them out with some Eibachs, maybe?

thanks guys, but if I am not careful, I scape with my stock springs on the SVT. My neigborhood uses rolled curbs so they do not lower the sidewalk like a traditional driveway. I already have to come in and out at more than 45 degrees and can't make it in if there is more than just me in the car. In fact when I back out my rear passenger tire lifts off the ground. One of these days I am going to have to get a pic of that...hehe. I guess if there is not a way to lift, I might have to get a permit to tear up the side walk so I can put in a traditional drive way entrance.

Thanks guys for taking a look. Hopefully I should have them on by the next NorCal meet.

I can lift tires with my stock `96 GL. It was even worse when it was lowered 2.5". I could pic up a back tire almost on command. laugh
