This was in nother post.
Anybody experiencing too much oversteer - rear end getting loose with the Aussiebar? I have the bar but not yet installed awaiting feedback. So far, I have heard it improves autocross times and reduces understeer but I have also heard about lifting a wheel in the turn and do not want much tendency for the rear to come around on the steet. What do you think now that the bar has been on a while? Thanks.

The back end can come out but you gotta really throw it around a corner alot harder than most of us do or being going some insane speed around the corner. I have hit corners very hard and the oversteer is predictable and manageable.

Ditto, no unexpected oversteer
Just a beautifully neutral car...

I'll chime in.

Non-SVT's have a larger front sway bar. Even with the AussieBar installed, my Cougar still understeers like a pig. Believe it or not, I'm actually thinking of possibly swapping over the svt front bar at some point. I'll move the battery to the rear first and see if that helps any.

I have heard that putting the Aussie bar on a Zetec tour can do it as well. I think that the bar will make driving a lot more fun. Right now it understeers too much for my taste. frown

Um, no oversteer. But I have a 95 which has the big front bar. Love my Aussie bar.

That back end still kicks out under heavy power off or if you throw it hard into a corner.
It is just a lot more predictable and much more controllable.
