Anyone know of RUBBER bushings that would fit SCA's 21mm rear sway bar? You know, like the OE style but with a 21mm ID instead of 18mm?

Think outside the box here.... maybe bushings from an Explorer, etc? I thought about using Contour front bushings but they are significantly wider than the rears. Any ideas?

Yes, I expect that someone here will tell me not to use rubber bushings for performance reasons, but the squeaking from the polyurethane bushings in the cold weather drives my wife crazy!

No cold weather problems out her in Cali, been 85 degrees all week!

Check JC Whitney, they carry a huge supply of bushings. Aussie bars came with grooved bushings, grease can be stored in the grooves so they don't dry out as fast as SCA bushings. Option?

Hopefully someone can chime in with a better lubricant option for the bushings.

But this weekend, I climbed underneath undid the brackets, removed the bushings and lubed em up real good, Left plenty of lube in there. I'm squeak free, but I need to purchase another tube, was using the other half of the tube SCA sent me, to relube when the squeeks reappear.

I was thinking some cherry flvored stuff I keep next to the bed laugh

What do you use to lube the sway bar(other than the cherry lube, Fmr12b)?
Mine squeaks like a son of a bittch. At first it was only on turns and now it any bump I hit or transfered weight.

I used what was remaining in the tube SCA sent me. Clear real thick silicon type stuff, may have to post this to whole group as I'm not 100% sure. I would say anything will work so long as it is friendly to the poly-bushings.

I know astroglide is running a free special offer. go to www.astroglide.com and get yourself some laugh
