My trunk will not get rid of the rattles and squeakes anybody have a solution for me, other than cutting the rear of my car off. Need some help from you Suspension Tech's.

You need to provide a little more detail. Squeaks are usually sway bar bushings, rattles could be bushings, collars, brackets and on and on...

Ok I do get some squeaking from the sway bar bushings... Other than that sounds like crap when im driving over a bump or ruffer terrain.

I had a squeak from my rear suspension, but only when it was below 50deg outside. Turned out to be the emergency brake cable rubber shield rubbing against the trailing arm. A slight adjustment of the pan-tie and the squeaking was gone. You may want to check that. Otherwise, check all points that move under the rear. Just work on one set of points at a time to isolate the problem. Good luck.

Since installing the aussie bar I have experienced many new squeeks. Possible that the upper half is flexing now...

i have a squeeking too and my the rear-drivers side looks like its lowered almost...looked at the spring and its fine so im thinking struts...when struts are dying do they squeek alot and is it possible they would make the car lower?

My rear struts have been squeaky since I bought the car 2 1/2 years ago. I have heard this is a common problem with the 98's

LIL SVT: Unless you changed the suspenison, you should be OK. Except for the the right rear side of your car will get a squeak, i heard was from fuel filter or something. (Just grease it up)
