Good to see a suspension topic here. Let's face it, tweaking the suspension on a Tour is one of the best mods you can make.

I've put most of my mod money into tires and suspension. Went with 17" Borbets and Protenza 730's. Now I'm in process of putting in Koni's, Eibachs, and the Aussie bar. Also put urethane bushings in the front.

In my opinion, the Tour is a car made for a road course, not a drag strip. I don't really care what I can do the 1/4 mile in. My goal is to sweeten up the suspension, then learn how to really drive.

If you're into F1 or GT or even Touring racing, you know that 80% of race prep is tweaking the suspension for the right setup.

DEFINITELY Agree with you on this one. The car is so much faster thru the turns with suspension work done. Its unbelievable how fast you can take turns even when you are not trying to. Everyday boring turns are now excting high speed turns. Adds a whole new dimension to driving. The Aussie bar was a HUGE improvement over the Koni's/Eibachs. I now cant wait to turn!
