I helped my brother put a wing on his car.

Word to the wise, make sure you have the wing exactly where you want it, then mark where the holes will go. Then measure the distances between the marks you made and the mounts on the wing. Believe me the last thing you want to do is drill holes more than once.

One thing we did on my brother's car was before we placed the spoiler on the trunk lid I put a nice dab of selant over the holes in the trunk, then we put the spoiler in place, then on the underside of the trunk lid I did the same with the selant. Doing this along with using the gasket supplied further reduces the possibility of water getting between the wing and the lid, which will prevent the bare metal exposed at the holes from rusting.

If I see even a hint of laundry drying on said wing, there will be much slapping.
