My son and I took a trip last Saturday to Lime Rock park.....didn't realize it was that close to me-about a 40 mile trip one way; quite a pleasant drive. Any thoughts on getting some track time for us CEGer's?? Anyone know what something like that would entail??

I believe we would either have to rent the track...which is probably booked for most of the season at this point, or pair up with another club. As I recall, the corvair club has an event there, that usually has a relatively low turnout, we may be able to work something out with them...that lowers everyones prices, and does not drop track time too much.

In april there is a track day. $125 for the day i think.

Actually, thats not bad, I paid 130+ when I went, and it was well worth it.

125$ is cheap compared to some well-known tracks...the Nurburgring in germany costs something like 250 deutchmarks....which is like 400$ US to run a few laps on.....so, not a bad price considering...
