Last week my power door locks went out, I checked the fuse but I am still looking for the relay, The ford manuel says its outside of the fuse box.

I read a previous post which said it was by the right kick panel, I have tried to find without success. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

the lock relay is behind the glove box on the firewall above the kick panel. If you have keyless remote it is in the same spot but incorporated in the remote module . You will have to remove the insulation pad behind the glove box in the footwell compartment to see it. It is in the corner above the side kick panel.

Thanks for responding, your advise was helpful. I looked behind the glove box, and I believe I found the Keyless entry "module", it was in between the blower motor and the side kick panel. It has 2 wiring harnesses at the bottom, and an antenna wire in the side, its a black box, which is clipped down somehow. I couldn't remove it, I thought better ask again, before I break something. Also, is the door lock relay inside the remote module, or is it attaced externally.

Thanks,

I looked for this before just about the time Lance had to shut down the server.
It's inside/or part of the the Pats module. My next thing would be to take it apart, but since mine is working and the broken left wrist & seperated right shoulder makes it almost impossible.
Never did here back from Mr. Rix up in Canada not sure if he ever got his fixed or not.

I believe I sent wiring diagrams?

Right not Pats---- Keyless entry module or Anti-theft central locking module. 4 wires belong to the relay blk, org/blu, wht/red & yel/red.

The relay is inside the keyless module.

I've just come across this relay today on my 95 Contour GL V6 (no alarm system) while trying to troubleshoot a similar problem. As smsfordman said, it's right behind the glovebox, top right hand corner of the kick panel. It's a single brown relay with 4 wires plugged into it. Mine actually has "power door locks" stamped on the side, & I'll be replacing it next week which will hopefully fix my problem.... I wonder if SE driver managed to fix his locks? smile
