Originally posted by blaksplash: one other thing, has anyone changed the pcv valve on the 2.5L? if so, would you mind explaining the process? It's pretty simple, although not easy to identify. The little bugger is located underneath the throttle cable bracket. The easiest way to find it is to locate the small hose that sticks out of the back side of the big black ribbed rubber intake hose that leads to the throttlebody. The hose heads towards the rear of the engine and underneath the throttle cables, and attaches to the top of the PCV valve. The bottom of the PCV valve is attached to a larger vertical hose. There are no tools needed to change it as there are no hose clamps holding it in place. Just twist and tug on the hoses to get it out. If you have small hands, it will help, as there's not a lot of room to work. I don't, so my hands got a bit banged up
