I don't realize it enough, maybe because I'm sitting behind the wheel most of the time, but last night heading down 400, it's 6pm, still plenty of light out, I see this menacing grill bearing down on me doing, oh, probably 95 or so.
I can see pretty clearly that it's an SVT. A silver one. I nail mine and get around the car in front, then get over in the right lane and slow down to about 75-80 to let him go by.
These SVT's we've got are danm good looking cars. Especially the rear end. It definately helps that they made so few. The dude needed to wipe off his front rims though.
Keep that in mind 99SVTguy before you trade for that vet!
On a side note, I stopped at the walmart in Cumming to get some fuel additive last night, and after I scored, the wall of air filters catches my eye. I'm thinking, no way in hell they've got one for my car. So I scope out the book (Fram) and sure enough they've got one, for 9 bucks. I don't have a K&N, and it had been 25K miles, so I thought, what the f***. It's late, no one's in the parking lot, so I decide to throw it in right there. I pop the old one out, and on the flat part, not the cone end, towards the bottom there's a good amount of oil on it. Normal fellas? I'm not so sure. Probably a teaspoon amount. On the base of the filter and further down toward the throttle body. This beast gets parked in the garage so I would notice any oil leaks and there has never been any. What do ya think?
