OK, I think Ryan can back me up on this. Stopped by NOPI this morning to pick up some wire piping and asked them when their first regional was. They said March 30!! So here's what I'm thinking about our next meet:

A 2 day event...come for both or come for one.

Friday, March 29:
Fast Friday Grudge night at AtlantaDragway

Let's meet up there in Commerce Friday night to check out some early season action. Come to race, or come to watch. Oh yeah, and you can bring your own beer if you are watching, just to make things more fun for you. We should try to meet up there between 6:30 and 7 PM.

Saturday, March 30:
NOPI Regional Car Show

Let's try to get some cars in the show. Ryan, are you going to be ready by then buddy? If you show, I'll show with you. Come to show or come to hang out. I've got a big open sided canopy tent and a couple of camp chairs and a cooler just sitting around waiting for car show season. The shows are pretty fun, and it will be an ideal place for our chapter of the CEG to gather, shoot the chit and represent our model and make of car. If you don't want to show, then still come and hang out!! Trust me, don't be bashful about showing...some of the cars that show in those things are, shall we say, an extreme work in progress. RYAN/BRAD: any input here about the show or anything we'll need to coordinate as far as entry fee, scheduling, etc, let me know.

What is you guy's interest in this? Come for one event, or hang out for both! It'll be a blast, but its you guys that always make the meets so successful, so let me know your interest.

I'm up for some dragging in the stock frosty SVT. laugh I'm curious as to the time I can pull. As fo NOPI, obviously I don't wanna show a stock car, but I'll attend. Unfortunately, I gotta work on the weekends and won't be able to get out there until 2-3pm. I'll at least have Frosty out there to repruhzent CEG laugh

BTW, does the Dragway allow bikes? Or is that a special night?

ndru, Atlanta Dragway is in Commerce, Georgia, about an hour and fifteen minutes north of downtown atlanta. Its worth the trip if you like performance cars.

Alan that's great about your ride! I can't wait to see her when she's finished. I hope others in our group will want to show their cars too.

Well i don't see my car as anything close to show worthy and that retarded synchro is still pissing me off so I won't turn any good times at the track. I'll probably take it up to Ford this weekend to see what they can do about it. I just don't wanna get reemed just for having them drive it up to 4k rpm's and not seein a problem. Maybe they'll let me ride with them or somethin. I dunno wishful thinkin. Anyways, peace.
