So, I was wondering what side roads you all travel just to 'let off steam' or get the SVT thrill, e.g. on your way to work, the store, etc.
For me it's on my way to work. Noting that my shift starts at midnight, I catch little traffic on the interstate. Sometimes in the traffic I do hit, I usually find a joker in a tricked out Honda thinking he's gonna get a piece of me, but I digress... One of my favorite places to haul a$$ is the 285E -> 400N exchange... At 11:30ish pm, you can find HUGE gapeing holes in the traffic going N on 400. So hitting the medium left curve in 3rd and around 3.5k rpms until you time your entry into traffic, and then unleash the beast up to 120. I then take the 1st exit ( Sandy Springs/Dunwoody ) which has a nice medium right turn on to a trafficless Ashford/Dunwoody Rd. (just watch the drifting if you hit it too fast...
)
It's the little bits like that that make me anxious for work.
So, any others have tidbits of places to unleash?
