I didn't wreck it or anything, but it will be in the hands of the grease monkeys tomorrow for the first time. I am having Gwinnett Place Ford fix a foggy fog light, dash rattle and speedo chatter.

I would suggest going to arrington-blount Ford in lawrencville, right off 316 I believe,.,,They are less busy and i have heard nothing but good. Gwynnette Ford sucks very badly, and i had a life threatening situation with a car that they fixed

He's chaaarging!!!...(add scottish accent)...

I've not heard the best things about G.P. Ford either, but they did pretty good for me this time. They ended up doing the dash recall on my car, which means I have a whole new dash. The install looks fine and the only issue was that they scratched up my painted shifter ring. No biggie, I'll just repaint it. Also they are getting a new fog light for me under warranty.

I would not take my car there for major mechanical stuff though, based on what I have heard.

Some guys have recommended Akins in Winder also.

Well the replacement fog light came in yesterday and they installed it ok. Problem is they put 5 miles on the car. When I challenged them to explain where and why the car was driven, the said the tech did a standard test loop around the mall area to make sure the connections were good. Yeah whatever. Can you say lunch run to Taco Bell, smokey burnout in some deserted office parking lot, and then 125mph down 85 real quick. Maybe I am just paranoid. Funny thing is, when the replaced the *entire* dash board last week, they only drove it two miles. mad
