I recently bought a 96 gl and am thinking about some engine mods. I was thinking about putting on a new air flow, then read about problems with heat soak in the hot weather. Any thoughts? Also is there any places in the valley that sell performance parts for contours or is mail order the best way? Lastly any good suspension shops or wheel dealers besides discount that you might recommend. Thanks

First, welcome to the SW forum. Second, is your GL a Zetec or Duratech? That will help your direction regarding intakes, heatsoak, etc. I don't know of any shops in the valley that sell anything Contour-specific, but if you check the main contour.org page, go to links...aw hell with it; here's the link . Scroll down to the Company Pages section and check some of those. CTA comes to mind, as well as Kurtz Kustomz.

Don't know much about the wheel/suspension question. Maybe Kaiser or DARKERIMAGE can show you the way.
