does any one want to route us a drive for our meet the 17th- mabey before the sun disapears so that everyone can view our pride and joy. and we can roll in stlye. mabey even to a car show.?? pavilions? sat?fri? i dont know -- or isnt there a small one like elliot and mcqueen area?? so all can see -thru the mall? just a suggestion.

Is is open track night on the 17th? I wouldn't mind going down and burning some rice. Firebird is at I-10 and Maricopa road.

Usually Fridays are open "Run What You Brung" nights there. This would be a great time of year, though. Little heat soak problem.
I wouldn't mind taking you (Keyser) at the track.
I think that the Scottsdale cruise thing is on. Does anyone know?

Once a month they have a Saturday open track night. I look forward to you "taking me" at the track. After next week my car might be just a smidge faster.

Okay, here's what I've come across:

1) Car show - There is a car show in Scottsdale that day. Gates open 8am - 5pm.

2) Races - Don't know. Firebird's website has been jacked up for weeks. I can't get to it. If anyone can get a calendar of events from them, please post it for us.

3) Cruise - Well, I tend to pick things that are too far away, but I'm going to throw this out here, anyway. Please keep in mind this is mostly word of mouth info...I have never been to any of these areas...

I think we should hit 101 N to Rt. 87...follow that to the Bush Hwy and then come back into town. Or...

if you're feeling adventurous and really wanna cruise, hit Rt. 88 and follow it until we wear out some rubber. This gives us a little city and a lot of twisty...

Why not just take the beeline highway to Payson and back?

davis -- what car show in scottsdale are you talkin about ?? i was refuring to the pavilions every sat evening - a bunch of cars all parked in the lot and people walk thru all nite--ring a bell with anyone -- ive been there anyway-
