I've been reading about these performance chips and they say they can gain 10+ HP. Will these work on ATX Contours and is the change noticable? How much should one pay for these and how much do they cost on average?

PS- I know I'm posting a lot of questions, ones that I'm sure you have read over a plethora of times, but I just bought my Contour, and there is so much I want to learn about it and do to it, so please be patient with me. Thanks.

I don't know about the gain of 10 HP but it does wonders on the ATX. It changes shift points and it gets rid of the limiter (Superchip) I bought mine new from Kurtz Kustomz www.kustomz.com for about $230. Look in the classifieds they usually go for about $100 to $150. Kurtz Kustomz also reprograms chips. Just make sure before you get one that they have the program for your computer code. They don't have all the codes.
