Forgive me for being ignorant but doesn't this type of mod open your vehicle up to being easily stolen by simply breaking a window, getting in, and pressing "go"? Or is there some sort of kill switch or other safety device to go along?

I think you still insert the key. They button is for aesthetics only.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

You still need the keys. I believe you turn the key to the "power" position (where your head unit is on/windows can roll down/etc) and the ignition button will light up (if it is able to) then you can press it to start the car. Good for show cars or a neat trick to get cheap women...but I don't know why else you would do it.

Go to the fuse box in the engine bay. Take off the cover. Have your owner?s manual handy look up the R6 relay it is the starter relay. take a wire from the starter button that you want to install put in the #2 slot and the other in the #5 slit push the button an the engine should start male sure that the key is in. There is a diagram in the starter relay that your pull out this will tell you where the wires should go. They are the 2 that when looking from the front of the car they are straight running front to back.

I hope this works.
