Does anyone have any idea of the cost involved in switching from an ATX to a MTX? I apologize if this topic came up already but I'm on a shared dialup so I'm crawling right now. The time has come where I would prefer a manual trans. Of course, I'll wait for the auto to die. Would it just be cheaper to buy a SVT or a manual tour?

yes it would probably be cheaper to buy an SVT or an MTX tour. It would defiently be less headaches. But hey if you got the money go for it! laugh

I know people that did it to other cars for about $1-1.5k parts and labor included. Not sure what it might cost for a Contour though...
