CONTOUR ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Much of this was compiled for a 1998 Contour SE w/2.5L, though the information should pertain to most Contiques. It may not be all encompassing, but hopefully useful anyway. I keep a printed copy in the glove compartment just in case.

You're right, they are non-adjustable. The only adjustment possible is the toe-in and toe-out. The specifications are for information only - useful when checking if your chassis/suspension components are damaged, like after an accident.

Excellent information there wjang! I know it will come in very handy for me. I too have printed it and am keeping one copy in my glovebox and a second copy in my Chilton manual. On behalf of everyone that will be using it I would just like to say Thanks....Good job!

Excellent except that Ford and most people here have revised the lug nut torque to 90 lb-ft.

Thats great info. I'm gonna keep it in my glove box as a back-up since I usually leave my haynes manual in my bathroom.
