I think the twin tips in the back look pretty good and I'm sure the bends dont hurt that much in performance because there are two 2.5" pipes in total. Even if the bends cause the pipe to be 2", thats still two 2" pipes so there should be no problems with flow.

Hey Sergey, how difficult was it to get the contour imported into the country or did you buy it after it was imported?

Also, where do you get parts! Must be difficult. I dont imagine there are many ford dealers close to you wink

I hear in Russia all the nice cars are stolen from other countries and once brought across the border no one will ever see them again as no one in Russia cares about stolen cars.

Gal at my firm is from Moscow on a 3yr tour here.

Out of curiousity, what do you have where the US license plate would be?

of all the cars in the world to import, you chose an SVT Contour. Heh.

The duals are truely custom. Must have set you back a bit with the 6 mufflers you used. But, with no h or x pipe to even out the pressure between both banks and to help with scavaging, plus the 120* crus bend that looks almost crimped, I don't think its the best setup for that car. Just not enough room. Hope you enjoy it though. Exhaust is mostly about sound anyway....love the twin tip look from the mufflers you installed.

No! Those crush bends are what looked horrible. Mendral bends don't look like that at all.

Yeah, I got some bolt-ons.

As 99 said-
you should have some sort of crossover to even out exhaust pulses. The motor wil run better with an ex pipe-

But it still looks good- the welding is a bit crappy but again- you have more guts than I do for doing it!

PS wanto trade lisence plates? I could use a russian one- and I have a USA one if you want to trade
