I am thinking REALLY hard about doing the DMD mod. Is it worth it in everyone's opinion? How do the engine characteristics change? I figure less vibration equals less chance for stuff to break.

Smartest money I ever spent. I was truly shocked at the difference when I got mine put on. Highly recommended, especially if you spend much time at 5000+ RPM.

engine's characteristics are not necessarily changed. Performance wise it has little or no affect.

What it does do though is eliminate much more of the engine's vibrations. The change in vibration after installing is astonishing.
