Thisd is the 5th one I have, and love them a lot!
The Aztek is my dads car, and So far, never had any trouble, and he did travel all around US and canada. He got 120 000 KM in around 1 year so far!

Stock MR-2 are only 112HP, but still can be as fast as a civic SI, it is not a real fast car , but it is so much fun to drive compare to all other cars I've tested...It can be modified to be more than 200 HP very cheap, this engine was the one used in the atantic race cars. I had a supercharged 1988, 145 HP stock and I can tell you that was my favorite!
I will keep it yellow for now, but I will put some Blue stripes on it. It will be electric blue one day!

I dropped a jdm 4age motor (130hp) into my '85. That, along with some air intake mods, made for a quick little car. It was definately much more fun to drive than my contour.

Hey, some one else with a two. I've got an 87 myself. Fun little cars but my dad found a 91 he couldn't walk away from, so that car is on its way out. Have you been to the web site? www.mr2.com Its got agood amount of information on it but it seems that the enthusiam for the first gen has died down for the most part. None the less there are a bunch of good articles there. Best of luck to you.
