Yup! Thats exactly what the clay bar is designed to, and does do (extremely well I might add) I just did mine with the mother's clay bar system, and it worked great. I am extremely happy with the mother's clay bar... -Nick

I just order my stuff from Sal. However, there is/was a distributer near me that I called once. He was out of Z6 which was all I needed at the time. I haven't tried calling back since. I e-mailed Sal last year and he gave me the contact.

You should e-mail Sal and ask if ther are any distributers in Detroit/Windsor area just to confirm the guy is still a distributer. Shelby Twp is about 45 minues from the bridge/tunnel, FWIW.

I only got about 8 coats of Z2 out of my first bottle. Way too thick. I have been using a lot less now. How many coats do I think I will get? 25 maybe more. Hard to keep track of multiple vehicles with varying amounts of Z2 and Z5.

And like Nick said, clay bar will really help with bugs as well as tree sap and less obvious paint contaminants.

I always think about modding my car, adding graphics, tinting windows, blacking out taillights, whatever... but then i see a car like this and I change my mind. VERY nice.

oh- and does anyone use Ibiz?? I've never tried Zaino, but I imagine that it will have to be DAMN good to beat my Ibiz.

Thanks again everyone.

I am going to go get the clay bar this weekend, as well as the Z-6 for the weekly touch-ups.

I have been a Meguiar's junky for many years - using it on lots of shows cars. I works great, but it just took so much time and effort. This is even worse when you have several cars to do.. That is what I really liked about Zaino, the ease of using.

There is a place that sells it here in Windsor (In a barbor shop of all places..), but it is a bit pricey. It will seem like nothing to you US folk with the ever-valuable dollar we have up here...

So you ready to switch to the Darkside Roger? wink

Granted alot depends on the camera and lighting and such, but I haven't seen a T-Red lookin so damn shiny since Gator got rid of his! Well, JVT's is pretty shiny too, but...... smile

Another satifsfied customer, glad to hear! laugh
