After hearing so much about Zaino products on here and on the Corvette Forums, I had to try it for myself. I ended up using the Z-2 along with the ZFX additive, which worked great. This stuff is amazing!! With this in mind, which Zaino products should I go after next? Here are a few shots of my car after an afternoons work, and three coats later. Unfortunately, no major mods at this time, as I have to afford the 2003 Cobra somehow..

That looks shiny as Hell!! I think I'll have to go order me up some of that stuff. How did it work for removing small swirl marks and scratches? Keep up the good lookin 'tour! Tim

Purty!!!!!!!!!
I go through these phases where I wish I had a T-Red SVT. Then I see a black one go by and I think I'd rather have black. Then I wash mine up and I like Silver.
If I had money to burn, I'd own one in every colour, including Tropic Green. Imagine that...a 4 car garage with 4 SVTs...
Or else one Lightning for when I'm late, one SVT Contour for road trips, one SVT Focus for the commute, and one SVT Cobra for fun.
Anyone own all 4?

If you only used the Z-2 with ZFX then you only got half the package... Check out their webpage www.zainobros.com I'm sure you already have but look around it and read up on it and you will see what all to use to get the best results, although your car looks amazing....

I don't know if I would want my car to be that shiny. Some1 might get blinded and rear end me. I'll stick with my swirl marked, white crap covered, sap spotted paint.

I'm certain your car needs a clay bar, Z18 comes with 2 bars for $17 - fair price. There are others you can pick up locally that are also good, like Clay Magic & Mothers. I heard Meguiars clay isn't very good, though. Clay will not only smooth out your paint so it feels like a baby's butt, it'll also make it shine more. Next, Z6 & Z7. I just bought a case of Z6 because I go through so much of it. If you use Zaino wash & detailer once a week or so, your car will look like it does today for the next 6 months. Zaino and most other sealants do not cover up or fill in swirl marks. Having perfectly prepared paint prior to Zaino makes a huge difference in what it looks like. Zaino does not make any abrasives and it's Z5 is effective at only very minor swirl marks. But, your car looks very bright.

Thanks guys..
The clay bar is the next on my list for sure. I will also have to pick up the car wash as well as Z-6. If the clay bar removes bug residue, I will buy it immediately.
As a follow up, how long does a bottle of Z-2 typically last everyone? I found once I got the hang of it, I barely used any on each coat. I would imagine that I would use even less than that if I prepped the paint with the clay bar first.
For the SE Michigan folk out there, do you have any local places that sell Zaino? I live 10 minutes from Detroit, so getting there is not an issue.
