OP quinnsullivan11 Junior Member Q Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 24 coon rapids, mn	i was wondering what it is because it was recommended to me. i am assuming it has to do with the computer or electrical components. will it work even though i have a VCT Zetec?

Doing this makes the car run lean. It's "supposed" to smooth out the rpm band in the upper rpms. But i have heard it's not good as it can cause detenation. Read this post. It explains alot better.
