In KC we call it Palmer's disease, after PhatSVT. He always had to do this to his, each time he started his car. Rather humorous to watch though
I pulled the socket off the back of the bulb and smeared some di-electric grease in there, it is basicly a clear Silicone helps to conduct electricity better. You can find it at any auto parts store, only $2-3 for a tube ,kind like a travel size toothpaste. Never had a problem after that. Probably just got some dirt and otehr road grime between the socket and the bulb, no biggie!
