It's been discussed before and IMHO it is stupid. There are plenty of ways to gain more HP.

So the Eram is stupid and only gains 5-7HP. So an exhaust gains the same amount for roughly the same price, does that mean getting a new exhaust is stupid. Same goes for an intake.
I think the ERam (which I have ordered) is a great addition to the intake/exhaust package. My chip doesn't need to be reburnt either because the boost is only 1/2PSI.

its silly... if you never rev your engine to far then it may be beneficial enough to get, but still pricey...
but if you like to get racey, and rev to you peak HP & TQ levels, then you are hurting yourself and HP!!

I think everyone needs to relax and ask brad noon about how "stupid" the e-ram is. He was going to rig up two of them inline before his whole assembly fell off

How many Erams have you tested? Thought so... Dyno proven 9 HP peak and 34.9 max gain at 6,000 RPM on an SE for the naysayers. Hit the K.C. '99 tab from the '99 CEG National meet. It's not the best HP per $ out there, but I will have some again some day simply because it did work. Don't install it before the MAF in the air flow though. Makes the thing buck a bit if you lug the engine at all and also kills gas mileage. That's also what killed the low RPM dyno readings because I didn't want to hit WOT until the secondaries had opened to avoid the bucking. I would suggest installing it between the MAF and TB. Only SE to get into the 15's in K.C. on that hot and muggy night too when a few of the SVT's couldn't do it. The Eram and filter on a pathetic CAI were my only mods at the time too.
