well like that picture headline says, possible drawing of one, but its just a persons imagation that did that one. but i can say, it wont look exactly the same, because they cant put 2 much money out for this one, that is y they are using the lincoln ls platform. so yea, expect something similar tho, because, it almost certain that it will heavily based on the 67 68 model of the stang. and the cougar is gonna make a come bak too, it will also be focused on an old design, from the 70's. cars are gonna change big time.

plus u have to keep in mind that ford wants to keep that new edge they have in place. IE look at the focus, mondeo, taurse designs. it will have that new edge look ford wants.

but that drawing, looks like it has the new edge in it. so its possible it will look somewhat like the picture i have supplied to this forum.

Looks like complete garbage; and it'll probably look like that for sure, seeing as over the last couple of years Ford has increased the amount of plastic fake scoops and whatnot on the mustang. Makin' it look like a pontiac if you ask me.

Man this pisses me off.

Seems like at ford, Retro is where the money is.

I want to see something new! The car needs a completely new approach. Make it look clean, contemporary (new Z car, RX-8,) and fast...then slap a Mustang badge on it.

I think that looks bad azz, but...

I dont think Ford should make that their new line of mustang... I think it should be like a special edition or something along the lines of that, and just keep on pushing forward with the stang they have goin now. But definitely have to have that thing available for the outside world!!

Did anyone actually read the article?

"Adding plastic (already found in the hood and trunk of the Mustang) in place of metal makes the car lighter but also makes it less rigid and can make the car not as safe. A lighter vehicle also does not handle as well as a heavier vehicle. " eek

and what planet are you from?

Maybe he is talking about the fact with less weight it makes it harder to get traction with the more powerfull cars, but still that statment. He just does not understand what handling is.

If he's referring to snow/ice, he is dead on. My old Taurus handles 10x better than my Contour does in the snow.

Anyway, about the design...I don't like it. Another poor attempt by Ford to mix the retro with the new stuff...like the T-Bird...they turned a classic car into a goofy lookin beast that looks like it belongs in who-knows-what year.

STOP TRYING TO GO RETRO AND MAKE YOUR CARS SLEEKER!!! ::cough cough: like GM! :cough cough::
