I recently just got done retrofitting OEM XENON HID headlight projector units w/ ballasts and D2S lightbulbs that came off of an AUDI A6 onto my '95 Contour SE. I believe it will soon be the latest trend in lighting mods for any car. I think it looks more stylish, and I can see about 3 times better at night. I just wanted to have opinions, Let me know what you guys think:) See pic: http://www.telcomplus.net/josch/images/IMAGE011.jpg

well, it looks a little strange for obvious reasons. the part you fitted in is clear, and the rest of the assembly is still stock. i guess there's no way you can clear out the rest of it though. way to be innovative though, i bet it looks sweet when it's "on". i guess i'd need more pics of it.

Not of the '98 model, but the 98s would definitely be way easier to do than mine was, because they come factory with a clear lense on the headlight fixture, so no mods would need to be done there. Projector would just mount in from behind

I think it is great for your efforts, but you can get plug and play kits with no cutting for about the same price.

------------------------------------------

I already tried 2 different plug-n-play kits and beam pattern quality SUCKS, and it causes glare and blinds out every other car on the road, because Ford engineered such a crappy cutoff line in the stock beam, that it cannot handle the 3X brighter light that the xenon bulb offers. Nothing compares to having a light fixture designed for the output of a xenon bulb. No glare, and the beam is MUCH wider than the halogen fixture could produce

Where can you find the Plug-N-Play kits?
