Well, I believe in many AutoX classes, you can't change the number of batteries, but you can relocate them.

With the Aussie bar, I have enough oversteer now. I really don't need any more weight back there that wants to "come around" smile

Great find. I looked into odyssey batteries also. But since I'm from the great white north, I can't use that puny one. I would consider it only if you never see sub 40 degree temperatures (I know the guy from hawaii (Micah) has one and he has mentionned no problems with it  )

Also, they seem to cost a fortune, and are not available in the North East.

For moderately cold climates, I guess you could get away with the PC925 (490CCA) Its 7X6.69X5.79 inches high, and at 24 pds, thats a decent weight savings. I would have to go with the PC1200, which is a big bugger (6.66X 7.87 X 7.55 high), which at 35 pds provides only marginal weight savings. The shorter length would improve the path of cold air from the front, and with 630CCA, the car is gonna START.

Mangler why the rolling of eyes when refering to my success with the Dyna Batt. Yeah I don't live in an extremely cold climate as the coldest it gets on O'ahu is 45deg. in some areas, can't say that for some of the outer Islands that get much, much colder than that, but since I don't live on the outer-islands that's not an issue. I really haven't encountered to much of any problems with the Battery, I've had it on for over a year now. I think the Dyna-Batt is prone to drain quicker though than a regular Battery from my experience and so I suggest not running your radio while car is off to long. The Dyna does re-generate very fast!

I'm also considering moving it to the trunk, like to have more space up front, plus it will reduce the amount of damn wires around that area... wink
