based on experience canyou really feel the power increase as soon as you slap it in. The charts say up to 20 horses.. Is it accurate? confused

I don't know about the SVTs but it helps out the automatics out more by changing shift points. You can feel a little more power behind the shifts. It think with the SVTs it is a toss up; I've heard people said it helped them and some it didn't. I think it depends on your computer code.

I bought a Supership and the car LOST 4 hp. I sent it back and had it redone and it made the same as stock. I wouldn't get one. I saw more power on the dyno from a drop in K&N air filter. Alot more.

It lightens your wallet by a few grams, if that helps. I haven't heard many good reviews of a drop-in chip, but I believe a couple owners have had good results from custom burns to accompany their BPU+'s.

I had great results from mine....but since I've
modded my car more, I probably need a new program.
For that reason, you may want to do the chip last!

My chip came with the car when I bought it and it started making the car stall out unexpectedly. I took it out and sent it back to get new codes, got it back and now the check engine light comes on. But I think I could feel the extra boost . . . could be in my head.

My car lost power, too. Two reburns with new code and still no luck. I pulled it out and wow, did the car feel snappier.
