My clutch on my car I find to be quite heavy. It grabs only the very top (about 1-2"). I dont think its slipping, is this normal on the svt contours? or is my clutch on the way out?

I just put a new clutch in mine and did all the homework and it releases at the top.Everything is fine thats where there suppose to be. AS long as there is a little play in the pedal it will be fine.
