What I want to know is, how did they get all those endorsements? Just goes to show you that the rags (Hot Rod Magazine) are not all they are cracked up to be, and sell out to the highest bidder.

From what I understand, a certain level of intake turbulence is a good thing... however most modern cars (such as our own) already have things in the intake system to cause proper turbulence.. older cars (mostly the carbureted ones) don't, so who knows, it just may benefit them.

I really don't think it is worth $70. I think of plenty of other things to buy with $70.

I didn't even catch the price. The production cost of that thing is no more than $.05, I guarantee! But hey, they pulled 20 more hp at the rear wheels on the dyno! LMAO

Car and Driver did an actual dyno test with it a couple of years ago. They did the test on a BMW 5 series and found absoultly NO difference in horsepower with or without it. What does that tell you? Al

Just remember that Snake Oil products are really very good at what they are designed to do. What most people do not realize is that they are designed to transfer money from your pocket to theirs. That is why their advertising is so compelling.

whats up peeps, I hate to say it but I actually tried one due to my curious nature. I live close to the company that sells them so I figured it wouldn't be to hard to get my money back when I saw that it didn't work. So I went and they were nice enough to put it on for me. The people that worked there were cool and they even asked me if I wanted to take part in developing a cold air intake system for contours. I said shure just give me a call when you want to get it going. Anyways I had the tornado thing in my car for about a month and I actually saw a decrease in gas milage, especially on the highway. I got 210 miles to 13 gallons w/ it versus 230 to 13 gallons without it. With this info I took it back and they gave me my money and told me how weird that it responded to my car so adversly while on other cars they got nothing but good results. But they still asked me if I was still interested in the intake system development and I just told them t give me a call. So in conclusion the tornado didn't work on my svt. I had always wondered anyways what good would the tornado effect do when it's just going to get disrupted by the throttle body blade.

"I put in the TORNADO and made no other changes besides a small upgrade a shop installed. I cannot remember what it was. Something about a turboblower, intracooler, maybe. I don't know, doesn't matter, it was just to make the engine bay look cool. So anyway, after installing the TORNADO I gained 136HP on the dyno!"
