I just bought my 98 Mystique and I would like to buy a set of head light covers. I have been unable to find any for the Mystique. Will the contour ones work if not where if I can buy a set? New or used.
I think the headlights for 98+ Mystiques were different from 98+ Contour. They are more square at the grill than the Contours'. That's all coming off visual memory though, so I could be wrong.

You might be able to get a set of Contour headlight covers and "modify" them to fit. I think you would just need to trim off the inside, upper corner near the grille.
The Mystique IS different than the Contour. You won't be able to modify them to cover the whole headlamp. The Contour has a half circle towards the center of the grill to accomodate the Ford grill whereas the Mystique is slanted. I used XPel and have loved it!
