Guntaker, it looks like it was a nice day. So i see that one of the SVT's posted some real good times. How did you do, btw?

Well, i'll check out the link for the event next week. If i don't enter it, maybe i'll go watch or something.

What class/category were you in? is it all open for any cars + mods?

ttyl.

Hey Vancouver604,

It would be great to see you next time!

I was competing in E/SS (because of my springs!)...Unfortunatly there were no other cars in my class this weekend so I won!! Wooohooo! But I placed first out of all SS cars after PAX!
10th overall....

the new race tires sure made a difference....
check out www.vcmc.com for more details for next weekend.......

yeah definitely would be great to see you guys at the next.
But i don't think i'd enter my car into this thing as it is an ATX and a fat porker with the system and wheels.
I'll check out the scene and go from there next time up.

Rageboy: is that the only thing you have, springs?

Congrads on your win. haha....was the course exactly the same for all classes? what times did you run?

My current "go" mods: Eibach springs, b&m short shifter, r compound tires,.... I also have two rear Konis (looking for a deal on fronts before i install them).......

Oh and don't worry about your system....unless your gonna get really serious i wouldn't worry....I've been running the last 10 events with a sub/box/amp in the trunk...(i think i'll try to take it out before the next event)
...the Focus in the pic above had its back seat full of subs and still posted good times!

My best was a 38.6......
FTD was 31.3 but it was posted by this:

oh and the site is actually www.vcmc.ca

BTW Vancouver604 do you have ICQ if so... Add me 3734835

Not bad Rageboy. You're not the SVT with the white rims are you?

This is off topic, but do you know anyone in the Lower Mainland selling the SVT's nowadays?

I'm kind of interested but who knows. I just wanted to know how GREAT the resale value on these guys are in our side of N.America. Is the depreciation worst over here than down in the States?

Vancouver604: My car is the black one in the pics! (its in race mode thats why the Mille Miglia Cellos are not on it!)

As for SVTs for sale you should have talked to me about a month ago as i was trying to sell mine!!! oh well i couldn't sell it in time (long story....has to do with buying a Supra) i decided to keep it.....(good decision i think!)

dubkatz: i'm not sure what its got under the hood but its an 84 Swift DB2 if that means anything to you.....
....last year there was a lightning running in stock class and it stayed about 2sec behind the contour all year.... smile
