Whats the difference engine-wise between the V6 Cougar and the SVT Contour?

Arent the cougars motors in the other way around,meaning the cams face the drivers side? Thought I read that somewhere?

the cougar is identical to the regular contour in terms of mechanicals, so differences like cams, radiator, oil cooler, intake honing, etc all apply to the cougar as well.

Ok, well the SVT motor has the extrude honed heads/UIM/LIM....I believe the SVT Duratec has a higher compression ratio than the non svt...different pistons? Cams. and then down the line, the exhaust.
