Get a dictionary and try to look up "condolonces" and you'll understand.

Dont bring unimportant matters like spelling to the table when you're making the same mistakes.

Things that make you go hmmm..

Cops only issue tickets to the person that was at fault, ContourGuy got a ticket. Maybe you need to track down that cop and teach him some things.[/b]
Exactly right Perry. That means the damage for all vehicles will fall on his insurance (or his parents - God help them)

If he received the ticket then it was deemed he pulled in front of the minivan and is therefore the sole blame for the accident. That's the way it goes. Regardless of what anyone says or sometimes even may have happened...

I've never made much noise about my feelings on this or his getting his car handed to him, but this is a perfect example of why responsibility should be earned...

Buy your own car, pay your own insurance, and do or pay for your own maintenance... Otherwise true responsibility and accountability will never been learned...

Even if some, all or none of these apply the gist of the message still does...

That's the stupidest argument I've ever heard. It isn't even worth commenting on, beyond what I just said.

Yea Im sorry for the guy for not knowing how to brake, but its a joke

Unless your *****-ass is out doing track events every weekend, then you have no room to criticize the driver by playing arm-chair driving instructor. I wouldn't expect you to understand concepts such as side-view instant center and the subsequent brake-hop that is attributed to rough surfaces and Torque-Arm rear suspensions, but since I bothered to check up on the incident and question, it is certainly not a matter of "knowing how to brake".

Here is a quote from the actual driver, pulled from the F-body mailing list after the incident:

This was a case of the crappy Nelson's surface (very bumpy) an me going to fast for the track conditions. I was coming off the long back straight, setting up on the outside of the track, and braking for a left turn.
The outside of the track was very bumpy and as I got into the brakes the rear started to bounce hard and the next thing I knew I was in the grass heading for the wall.

Dan recently lost his contour, give the man a break, don't flame him about it!! Dan, you've got my condolonces.. as for the rest of you guys, grow up..
I did give him a break, by not posting how retarded he is for not understanding such a basic concept as "yielding to oncoming traffic during a u-turn". He could have seriously injured the other driver. Fortunately, they were apparently fine. Seeing as he had the audacity to make a joke out of the "Camaro in a trailer park" a second time (this time after he was just in an accident), the courtesy was waived. Oh, and as was said by others in this thread, someone being involved in an accident doesn't give them a free pass to say whatever they want. You still are responsible for your own (classless) actions.

Right, and that why Dan got a citation for the incident.........

Since when is getting a ticket for something definitive proof of fault?

Dan could've flipped the b itch with room to spare, and the minivan driver was eating mcdonalds and adjusting the radio and as a result didn't brake and caused the accident.

Also, Dan could've misjudged it and actually been at-fault.

Who's to know? Dan got the ticket because no legal system can possibly deal with "well I saw her adjusting her radio (not looking at the road) so it's her fault".

If Dan wasn't at fault, we'd hear about it.
