BTW the Camaro would eat the Contour in the twisties and when you get to a straightaway, he will say bye bye. They may roll a bit, but so does a Contour. These guys are all idiots though... Likewise it is sad that Ford never built something to compete on the performance level with the Hipro Fbody. Mustangs are all show and no go, but with a bit of money and know how the old 'Stangs can be made to compete with them.... Sure there were a few years where the Mustangs actually were competitive... HEHEHE the late 70's...... Mustang II It would be nice if Ford could once again be a automotive leader in performance like they were in the 60's, but with Marketing/Accountants calling all the shots, we will continue to see overweight/underpowered/overpriced cars/trucks that have the personality of a wet sacks, and the appeal of a potato. I can only dream and hope for a slip from Ford that will result in just one year production of a car comparible with the 427 AC Cobra....... Makes me want to go out and drive the Cobra It also makes me impatient for the day the twin turbos finally go on the Cobra btw, Volcanogod, need I remind you that the Mustangs kicked the camaro's arse all over the place in the late sixties, and all the way through the 80's (well 82+ anyway) and into the early 90s. And the Mustang has consistantly, and substantially outsold the Camaro and Firebird since DAY 1 FWIW, the F-body is only good because of the engine/trans, the rest of the car sucks pretty bad.
