There looks to be a slight difference, but it's hard to tell in the photo... can you get the beams to shine on something that's a uniform color? What's your personal opinion, brighter/whiter?

Yeah, it is hard to tell the difference in pictures... The same thing with the pics of my HID's, pictures dont do them justice. Give us a personal review of the new bulbs!

They are VERY white, if you stare at the front view you can tell the bulb on your left is yellow, the one on your right is bright white. The pic where it shows the bulbs shining the SS light is on the left, way more lit up, than the stock on the right. That is not a uniform surface, but that is where my car was parked, and I'm not gonna switch in a stock on one side cause pictures don't even come close to doing it justice. I can see 150% better now at night, and I am very impressed with the whiteness of the bulb. I will possible meet up with 2gsport tonight to look at subwoofers, and maybe he can write an opinion as he has the cool blues...I love the look of it and the functionality, I just need to find some fogs to match...

Did you put the 9005 high beam in the low beam socket? I assume the tab needs to be filed/shaved down just like regular bulbs.

Advanced Auto Parts had them in stock, and yes I broke off the top tab on the 9005's to fit into low beam. I love the look and added visability. If I meet up with 2GSPORT tonight I can compare to the cool blue.
