Will a the intake that is make for our car fit on a 97 Taurus. Because i have a friend that want an intake to dress up under his hood and I have not found an aftermarket intake that would fit on his car.

Why doesn't he just polish the one that he has as opposed to buying a new one for cosmetic purposes only? I don't know if it will fit or not but just as anything else, it probibly won't just bolt up either... custom fabrication of cable brackets, sensor locations, and all of that will have to be taken into consideration.

I think he may have been talking about a filter set up, not the actual UIM... More like a CAI or a BAT intake tube...
Just FYI, the intake tubes will have to many connectors and look cobbled in the Taurus engine bay. Get a prebent pipe or piece of stainless steel pipe and make your own. If you need help, I can help you guys out.

yes, I am talking about the cold air intake. And his want his engine bay to have alot of yellow under the hood so that is way am trying to find or had one make for less than $150 to $200. Because i am going to us loom on all the hoses and wire under the hood. And any help would be very helpful. thanks.
