I've witnessed the Diesel and Grand Marquis run, they are both incredible pieces of machinery!
The Grand Marquis V-10 can lift the front wheels off the ground! He pulls up to the line and everybody kinda starts laughing (Yours truly included, the first time!). Then Green light hits and the front end pops off the ground and your jaw hits the ground!
The Diesel, well all I got to say about that is if you run him, stay to his right, cause the left side ain't pretty when he hits the propane! All you see is black smoke!

Damn! The lightning is such a sweet looking vehicle....but I'm more interested in the v10 marquis. Where'd he yank the motor from? And I hope he's running 13's cause he spins alot!!

the gears have begun to turn. This should make interesting thought. Think of it like No2 for the diesels. Except it is a more prolonged shot where Nitrous is a quick burst, I think. Some of them bad boys are putting down like 800-900 lb/ft. torque and like 4-500 hp! I can find some videos of them dynoing, give me a few minutes...........

Yep,The Contour is white with the Dark blue interior and is even a 5-speed with a moonroof.
That Grand Marquis pulls 1.72 60 foots and runs the quarter in 13.20 on a small 70 shot of nitrous. It would go 12's easily with a 100 shot. The car used to be turbo'd .
