John, Simon, I dont know R/C cars very well but one of my employees just bought one. It has a Peugot body and though I have no clue what this means, he says it has a 13 turn motor. I drove it, lots of fun, but if I had one, Id strip it out.

the digital camera you used is pretty good also. I don't think mine could have captured shots like those. is it still the olympus one?

HAHA! That's awesome! Looks so realistic, if it wasn't for the antenna and lack of a driver, you'd swear its the real thing! JVT, those pics are very nice, again what digi cam are you using?

Louis,
The camera is a Olympus C-2100.
1600x1200 res. 10x optical zoom, not digital (it rocks)
Movie feature as well. A bit bulky because of the 10x zoom, but overall, a helluva camera.
The shutter speed was between 1/50-1/100 in most of those pics.
We took about a 100 pics, and this is what came out. Lotsa lotsa practice before we could time when the car would be in the frame.

What type of RC Car is that? Those pictures cracked me up. I love the one where you can see under the car in the air. It reminds me of the Dukes of Hazzard!
Sweet!

I'm interested in buying a gas powered R/C car. I wasn't able to find any useful websites for info though. A couple of enthusiast webzines, which told me little of anything, and some german websites that sell kits and parts...of which I don't have any idea what to buy!!!! I was also wondering if the bodies you buy fit on all the cars, or only specific ones. I'd obviously put a contour or lightning body on it. I need something I won't have to spend months putting together too!! Thanks
