Awhile ago I bought a keyless entry system made by Valiant Industries from J.C.Whitney.
I'm thinking of trying to add it to the Mystique. Has anybody had any experience with this
particular mfgr or part?

Ive got it. Installed it a year ago, and it still works great.

Glad to here that it works!
The instruction guide was a little fuzzy. For Ford cars 79-96 it says for type of system, 3N (3wire negative system), 3P (3wire positive system), and 5RP (5 wire reverse polarity system).
Any chance you remember which it is/was?

Been too long, sorry. I THINK it is the 3P system, but Im not positive. Do a search in the general mods forums, there was a how-to that I followed. Its not too hard, the how to even has all the right wire colors to look for. HTH
