I gotta agree with Chris. Look where the photos came from. This guy is either a few fries short of a happy meal, or he gets of on getting other people going down the wrong track. Check out Phil TB

I didn't really check the sourse where it was coming from, just saw it on another 'stang board. I've been assured that it's not what the '04 stang will look like, nothing remotely close. My heart is beating again. John

looks like a z-24 from the rear (if you look really quick) but a cougar from the front. the rims look too much like the cougars now too. i would agree, if this will be the "new" mustang, forget about the car now. the 6-cylinder is bad enough...but this...

I doubt there would ever be a mustang that was that ugly.
It's all about balance.

I've seen the new Mustang and that is not it. Be patient...you won't be disappointed.

Whoa! Page 2 of the Motor Trend says that a 3.0 Duratech might be the base V6 on the D/EW Mustang! IRS and DOHC high rev power! (Ford will probably choose the SOHC 4.0 instead just to spite me.) And then there is the plans for a blown 4.6? And a paddle shifter on the Cobra? And a six speed as the base MTX! If half of the things in this article are accurate, I don't think I'll care how ugly they are. I wonder what it would take to get the wife to wait until 2003/2004 for her next car? And to convince her that buying a Ford is a good idea after the Contour fiasco. Somebody needs to shoot Rara full of sodium pentathol and find out how much of this is accurate.

I would like to echo what NYKnicksSVT said. I too have seen the '04 stang and that is nothing close. It will look way better.
